This Last Quarter Moon is something. The Last Quarter square itself is called a “crisis in consciousness”. With the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Cancer, this crisis is related to the inner-self needing to explore it’s own direction no matter what the external circumstances, yet the Sun – the outer is-ness, may reflect secure situations that nevertheless one has an urge to separate from, and now feels restricted by. The inner-self can feel like it is totally at odds with its external role or habitual way of projecting itself. Because the Moon is conjunct Uranus and squaring Pluto, the Uranus – Pluto square is activated in our interior world as well. I noticed an abundance of messages on my newsfeed (my astrological weather report) about people encouraging one another to do what THEY wanted, not what other people wanted. Very Moon in Aries – but with extra tension and urgency, the sense that if one is not free to initiate courses of action as they please, if they have to take others into account past the point of it really resonating, then the identity feels caged in and stuck.
