This week poses a potential for a transformation in values – committing more deeply to our truths, and discovering what kind of structures, commitments, or standards would support and facilitate those values. We can be challenged to get to the bottom of what we truly desire, versus what we felt conditioned to desire. Ultimately if we stick with this process we have the opportunity to refine our personal magnetism by investing more in what truly brings us alive. Be curious this week about what holds charge for you (positive or negative) as these can be sources of deeper inquiry toward self-knowledge. If it affects you, it’s personal. But how and why it’s personal may take a little investigation.
The astrology of this week is Pluto heavy, a planet related to desire, magnetism, transformation, hidden treasure, and the whole swamp-to-lotus trajectory. This means – sometimes the raw material of life (our reactions, our shadows, our adversities) is actually part of our process & how we relate to this raw material makes a world of difference. It may be that some people really grow from practices like journalling because the process of putting their thoughts on paper and looking back at it reveals to them what’s actually going on in their mind and affords them an opportunity to be confronted with that – and then shift or change as desired. Getting into the mud of our own processes (rather than avoiding it) and tilling the soil is one way to grow.
Welcome back! In case this is your first time here, I’m Sabrina Monarch and I’ve been writing these weekly astrology forecasts for nearly four years now. I love providing perspectives on the opportunities of transits and putting into words what the vibe may feel like at this moment in time so perhaps you may feel more connected to the cosmos than you even suspected! If you are new or haven’t already joined my mailing list, sign up here to receive the weekly forecasts to your inbox.
I have an upcoming online 45 hour Evolutionary Astrology intensive coming up in June, designed to give you the vocabulary and skillset to start forming your own astrological interpretations from the perspective of the soul. I created this course because I wanted other people to have the opportunity to have a deep personal connection to astrology which would empower them to have astrology as a personal and spiritual growth tool as something to keep long after the course is over. Past students have reported that this course is life-changing and has supported them on their spiritual path. You can read more about this course and enroll here.
Here’s our week:

Mercury in 3 Taurus conjunct Uranus in 3 Taurus: 7:22 AM PDT
Revelations and downloads can come through the body and energy body – if we have a practice centered around movement and/or breath, this may be a place where electric messages come through.
This transit would pair well (feel like this is a wine and cheese thing or something!) with activities that are inward-focused in nature like journalling, working on a private creative project, or going on a solo adventure – anything that allows us to tune into our interior and our relationship with the self. As we have the spaciousness and the environment to tune into our own essence, we may be surprised by what we find – just as we can be surprised by other people.
This pleasant kind of solo time can also enhance our interactions with others and the world when we return. Alone time can be a way to self-innovate and find tangible expression for what is still only vague in our consciousness.

This transit offers the invitation to make some time to luxuriate in fantasy. Think of how imagining something can actually shift your body chemistry – and regardless of whether or not it is ‘real’, the body experiences it as something that is happening right now. What if wealth was not just about money and physical possessions (though it is that too) but was also about the chemistry we generated in our body for free, just by thinking and feeling certain things intentionally? If you count body chemistry as a form of wealth, (and perhaps what that does to your magnetic field over time and what other forms of wealth your magnetism attracts), fantasy can make us rich.
The subconscious in an original oracle – whether that is through dreamtime or guided meditations. All we have to do is relax into a guided or freeform meditation to receive a message from the unconscious – a vast, available resource that is like the soil of our lives.

Venus in 23 Aries trine Jupiter in 23 Sagittarius: 9:55 AM PDT and Venus in 23 Aries square Pluto in 23 Capricorn: 10:20 AM PDT
If there are ways that we have been compulsively keeping the peace – like not speaking our truth or people-pleasing, we may feel more tension and desire to burst out of these confinements. This can be within individual relationships or it can be our relationship to the world at large. For example, perhaps we are wearing a mask a good deal of the time in order to fit in, but we’re starting to notice how taxing on our energy that is and how isolating that is.
A big act of courage we can take at this time (where you’re called of course) is to just be honest and authentic. If we did this all the time, we’d be so free right? What are our beliefs and stories that cause us to be less than honest? Stories such as: if people really knew who I was I wouldn’t belong in society or this particular person would not want to be with me. We can have compassion for the developmental process that led us to conform. Some children, for example, discover that they are rewarded for belonging to the family system and culture and that it would take a lot of work and suffering to rebel. As we age and gain more freedom, we also may have to retrieve some of our authenticity and de-mask some of what we’ve taken on to fit in. No matter how much of a freak you already might be 🙂
Naturally, being ourselves will expand opportunities for more authentic connection AND face us with the consequences of that choice. Just as it is soulwork to move onto the next expansive vista, it is also soulwork to move on, do conflict resolution, and/or to set appropriate boundaries in accordance to new needs or how we have changed.
Likewise, for some the mask-wearing may be adaptive or supportive at this time. It’s not like all masks are bad – but not all masks are the same. We do put on different hats, in some professional settings, for example. Or “getting it together” as a form of masking insecurity can sometimes transform that very insecurity and help us get on stage and give a speech, or know that we can do a job. A supportive mask that amplifies a facet of the self is way different than a deceptive, or maladaptive mask. From a shamanic perspective, we might think of costumes we wear that afford us a certain emotional state and actually open us up to new opportunities. That is a kind of relationship, and we can choose the garments/faces we are collaborating with. In psychological terms, this may also look like the superego – higher rules and standards we hold the ego (personality) to. The superego can be maladaptive if we’ve inherited values that don’t authentically resonate with us. But the superego can also be made up of ethics and values we’ve intentionally chosen that inform how we want to respond to life.

Sun in 20 Taurus trine Saturn in 20 Capricorn: 2:19 AM PDT
The vibe might be a little heavy or the air a little thick, with the Sun in an earth sign trine Saturn also in an earth sign. This alignment could support our tenacity and endurance through a work process – getting lots done at whatever pace we need to but going and going. This alignment could also support a proper rest day, and by proper I mean pulling out the stops – like going to a spa, laying out by the lake, making a nice meal or going to your favorite restaurant, or legitimately doing whatever it is that makes you feel golden.

It can feel like intense standards are penetrating our value sphere – like this is what you should look like, this is how you should parent, this is how you should be living, etc. etc. If any of these standards passing through our consciousness are creating a reaction in us, then we have some kind of relationship to them. We may need to sort through envy, jealousy, repulsion, desire, longing, etc. to get a clearer picture of why these particular standards and values are provoking us. Is it because we have an empowered no – this is not for me? Or is it because we ARE what we are jealous of in a more latent form and we are needing to develop and invest in the potential? Have a good conversation with yourself about it if charged reactions to the values and personas of others arise for you.

Venus in 29 Aries sextile Mars in 29 Gemini: 6:58 AM PDT
Trying something new that we are curious about may be a potent joie de vivre of the week!
A more prevailing attitude of “why not?” than “why” can add some lightness to our step.
This may be a time to activate the courage to express affection (where it has not been expressed) or to make a connection with someone you’ve wanted to connect with.
Thank you for meditating on the planets with me this week! I really appreciate you being here with me as I know that if you connect to this writing we have likemindedness and that is so special. Please share this article with a friend who you think would resonate!
